How great its to celebrate thanksgiving, the families get together, cook the delicious roasted turkey, pumpkin pie, cranberry sauce, mash potatoes, vegetables, sweet corn, the gravy, stuffing and so much more delicious meals we all love about this day that make it one of the most expected day in the our culture to say thanks for the many things we have, the love ones around us and so many things that we are bless in this country.

Eurocom P150hm Racer And Eurocom P170hm Neptune Review, Specs, Release Date

Eurocom just announced two gaming notebook which based on Intel Sandy Bridge platform that called Eurocom P150HM Racer and Eurocom P170HM Neptune. Both of new Eurocom gaming laptop has similiar specification and features. there was a difference in hard drive storage, and display size. the P150HM Racer and P170HM Neptune will be release on February 1st, but there is no information at this moment about the price.

The Eurocom P150HM gaming laptop is packs with 15.6-inch FHD display with 1920×1080 resolution, and up to 1.75TB of storage using dual HDDs, while P170HM Neptune is packs with 17.3inch LED Backlit FHD display with 1920×1080 resolution and 3D optional, and up to 2.5TB of storage using three HDDs. China’s Online Gaming Industry Banned From Foreign Investment

The General Administration of Press and Publication (GAPP) and the National Copyright Administration announced that foreign investment in Chinas online gaming industry is now banned in any form.

According to the circular, foreign businesses are prohibited from investing in online gaming operations through wholly owned enterprises, joint ventures and cooperatives. The new directive extends to suspending foreign firms from indirectly influencing local gaming firms through agreements or technology support.

Chinas online gaming industry is big business with forecast revenues reaching US$3.65 billion for 2009. Estimates by video game market consultancy firm, Niko Partners, say that there will be 64.9 million online gamers by the years end who will spend an average of US$52 each. So it is no surprise that the government wants to keep the industry tightly regulated for its significant financial value and more importantly cultural influence on millions of Chinese gamers.

Gaming Giants Bidding For Illinois Lottery Contract

Four huge gaming firms are bidding on the Illinois lottery contract and two of these gaming giants have teamed up to bid on the 10 year contract. Both firms, GTECH Corp. and Scientific Games Inc., have had contracts for instant lotto tickets and lottery equipment since 1989. GTECH, which is based in Rhode Island has been a major player in the gaming industry and is a subsidiary of Lottomatica which is the world’s largest lottery operator. According to GTECH , both companies control 63% of all lotteries around the world giving both companies extensive experience in operating lotteries.

GTECH currently provides Illinois with lottery terminals and ticket dispensers at lottery retailers throughout Illinois and also provides the central gaming system computer that operates the terminals. Last year the Illinois legislature indicated they wanted to move the state lottery towards private management. Lawmakers hope private management will boost sales by an additional $150 million which would be used to fund infrastructure projects. Illinois lottery revenues have remained steady at about $2 billion dollars a year. Illinois had considered total privatization of the lottery until the Justice Department ruled that states cannot relinquish control of lotteries.
